New Growth Transit
What is New Growth Transit?
New Growth Transit is building a volunteer network of drivers and coordinating regional transport services in west central Missouri, including Bates, Benton, Cass, Cedar, Dallas, Henry, Hickory, Morgan, St. Clair, and Vernon counties.
New Growth Transit, an affiliate of West Central Missouri Community Action Agency, coordinates and provides rides for doctor appointments, grocery stores, banking visits, church events and many other community resources.
Need a ride? We can help!
No fixed routes! Rides are provided to where YOU need to go. Schedule appointments locally or in a nearby community, including Springfield, Bolivar, Columbia, Kansas City, Joplin, and St. Louis.
Rides are provided/scheduled based on driver availability and must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.

The New Growth Transit service area includes the nine-county West Central Missouri Community Action Agency region in west central Missouri (Bates, Benton, Cass, Cedar, Henry, Hickory, Morgan, St. Clair, and Vernon). Barton, Camden, Dallas, Jasper, and Polk counties recently became NGT affiliates, and a related program is operated by Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation in Jefferson and Franklin Counties in east central Missouri. Plans for expansion to other parts of the state are currently under consideration.

Our volunteer drivers help their neighbors and their community! They use their personal vehicle and choose when to donate their time. If you are interested in volunteering please click the Apply Now button to download and print an application.
After completing your application, mail it to New Growth Transit, 112 West 4th, Appleton City, Missouri 64724 or drop it off at the Transportation Office at 508 North Main, El Dorado Springs, Missouri 64744.
